We are reading so much
on the development of driver-less cars by a number of players. And in time to
come we should see massive use of such cars.
Imagine a scenario
when we have only such smart cars on roads. We plan to leave home in 5 minutes
to go to office – we pick up our smart phone – open the app and call a cab,
which is a driver-less hybrid car – sit and feed our destination point – Google
maps gives the directions and the cab takes you to your destination – you make
online payment and leave the vehicle to be used by the next person.
In this fashion you
can even send any material that fits in the vehicle to the required
destination. This would work as drones on surface instead of in air.
With its use I can foresee
advantages like:
No issue of status –
just manufacture 2 models – one big and another small with varied rates for use.
No need to own a car –
every city will have enough cars as per requirements.
No parking issues – as
all cars will be on job all the time.
No traffic jams – as
few cars will be there on roads.
Solves security issues
– even for females travelling alone.
AND so little
pollution leading to better health of all.
